Inj Prolongatum (ACTH) which is easily available as vial of 10 ml in strength of 60 IU/ml. Each IU is equivalent to 25 μg of ACTH. With insulin syringe 10 IU can be injected intramuscularly (upto 7 marking in 40 IU insulin syringe)
Should read as
Inj Prolongatum (ACTH) which is easily available as vial of 5 ml in strength of 60 IU/ml. Each IU is equivalent to 10 μg of ACTH. With insulin syringe 25 IU can be injected intramuscularly (upto 16 marking in 40 IU insulin syringe)
